Leaders become great, not because of their power, but because of their ability to empower others. - John Maxwell
My name is Audralina, Founder and CEO of Women of Positive Change. I am a person with lived experience. I have recently acknowledged 10 years of recovery and wellness through using different pathways of recovery. Today, I have a support system that has been constant. I am a believer in positive thinking in the workplace. I work for a non- profit that serves the most vulnerable population in Montgomery County and this organization was an intricate part of my journey. I am pursuing my Bachelor Degree of Arts in Social Work and one my accomplishment is that I am most proud of is staying well one day at a time and being a part of the peer support community. I am a daughter, mother, friend, student, helper and a poet. I enjoy down home cooking, watching action movies and dramas. Wonder Woman and Black Panther are some of my favorite movies. My family is very important to me because they have been there when all has failed besides my “Higher Power.” I am inspired by people's resiliency and a person being compassionate no matter where they have been in their life.
