Incorporation Statement: Women of Positive Change
1. Women of Positive Change is a Peer led organization that supports people with substance use and mental health issues to find their individuality through Peer Support. We engage Peers through mutuality and respect using all disciplines of services to help a person live a positive and productive life. We engage the community and their support systems to help a person to become whole and live a healthier life.
2. To provide Peer Support groups which will for adults to encourage accountability which will provide trainings, workshops and seminars.
3. To provide adults with educational and vocational services so they may be gainfully employed.
4. To provide Peer Support and advocacy for adults so they can create and maintain a healthy way of life.
5. To provide early intervention due to mental health or substance use crisis, educational resources, job coach services to adults so their social and behavioral needs can be met. Also, provide literacy recourses so Peers can have an opportunity to develop pathways of learning they choose. Providing these needs will develop positive social, problem solving, and team building skills.
6. Provide nutritious meal for adults with the help of a nutritionist to teach a healthy way of life through diet.
