The Crisis Center provides free crisis services 24 hours a day/ 365 days a year. Services are provided by telephone (240-777-4000) or in person at 1301 Piccard Drive in Rockville (no appointment needed). Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) provides emergency crisis evaluations for individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Full crisis assessments and treatment referrals are provided for all crises, both psychiatric and situational. In addition, the program has four crisis beds as an alternative to hospitalization for those who are uninsured or are insured within the public mental health system.

On Our Own of Maryland, Inc. (OOOMD) is a statewide peer-operated behavioral health advocacy and education organization which promotes equality, justice, autonomy, and choice about life decisions for individuals with mental health and substance use needs.
The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) envisions wellness for people living with mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder). DBSA provides hope, help, support, and education to improve the lives of people who have mood disorders.
The Wells/Robertson House provides transitional housing for homeless men and women who have undergone alcohol/drug treatment or received other professional counseling and want to break the cycle of homelessness. Community Services Division of the Department of Community & Public Relations.
The Interfaith Works Clothing Center in Rockville provides low-income families with clothing and home goods free of charge, allowing them to use more of their resources on food, rent, utilities, medicine, and other basic needs.
Nourish Now is a 501c3 nonprofit food bank, specializing in food recovery and providing donations from grocers, caterers, restaurants, bakeries, and other food donors for the benefit of children, families, and the elderly, as well as shelters, food pantries, and other organizations working to end hunger. Through our programs, viable food partners are identified, and donations of food are recovered and redistributed through our network. Nourish Now operates under the following key philosophies.
Core to our theory of change is that no one agency can end hunger alone. Our extensive network has grown to include more than 350 different organizations, including government agencies, corporations, nonprofit groups, schools, doctors, employee assistance programs and faith-based associations. Last year alone, our volunteers donated more than 43,000 hours of their time, constituting the equivalent of 24 full time employees.
Ending hunger in Montgomery County is within our reach. Every day, our staff, volunteers, fellow providers and community members move us closer to this reality. And every moment, Manna’s participants remain the bright focal point of each of our collaborations.

We draw upon community partnerships. In addition, we provide support to the newly employed to ensure they retain their jobs and advance in their positions. All clients are encouraged to seek career opportunities that lead to fulfilling their long-term goals and reaching their potential rather than accepting dead-end, entry-level positions.
Tree of Hope Association is a newly formed non-profit organization built by people of the recovery community, friends, and family. We are interested in helping the disadvantaged get a fresh start by offering peer services, workforce development, social integration and providing clothing for those in need.
